B18 (players born in 2002 and laterminimal year of birth 2005)

B16 (players born in 2004 and later, minimal year of birth 2007)

B14 (players born in 2006 and later, minimal year of birth 2009)

B12 (players born in 2008 and later, minimal year of birth 2011)

B10 (players born in 2010 and later, minimal year of birth 2013)

The organizer does not provide any exceptions for over-aged players. The organizer keeps the right to cancel a category if there are not enough teams registered in.

 

REGISTRATION

Teams can be registered via the on-line form published on the official tournament website (https://www.moraviancup.cz). The capacity is limited!!! Only teams that are registered and pay the registration fee in time can participate in the tournament. The teams will be selected according to the date of registration fee payment if the capacity is exceeded. The other teams will be placed in the waiting list. The director of the tournament has the right to give a wild card. By August 21, 2020 the team leader will receive a final confirmation of your application via e-mail.

 

REGISTRATION FEE

Registration fee varies depending on the category you apply for:

110 EUR (for categories B18, B16 and B14)

90 EUR (for categories B12 a B10)

The registration fee must be on the account of FBS Olomouc no later than July 31, 2020. The bank charges are to be covered by the transferring team. The organizer has the right to exclude the team from the tournament if the registration fee is not paid in the due date. In case the team cancels its registration to the tournament after August 2, 2020, the registration fee will not be refunded.

INDIVIDUAL FEE

Each team member (within coach, team leader etc.) is obligated to pay the individual fee. It is 8 EUR per person and it must be on the account of FBS Olomouc not later than August 20, 2020. For each individual fee paid, a tournament ID wristband is assigned upon accreditation. Each team is given one tournament ID wristband for free. This ID wristband is used for check and allows the team members: to participate actively in the tournament, to enter all tournament matches, to travel in Olomouc during the tournament using public transport for free and to use all tournament discounts and accompanying events.

REGULATION

The tournament is played according to the valid International Floorball Federation (IFF) rules with the specific definition in these regulations. When presenting the team, the team leader fills in the roster including the players’ year of birth. Simplified match reports are logged for each match. The player’s may be requested in case of doubts. The team is required to present ID cards or other documents which clearly identify the player and his age. In case of unauthorized participation of a player, who is not listed in the roster, the result of this match will be 0:5. The maximal waiting time is 5 minutes, after that the default result will be 0:5. There is no team time-out available during group stage matches. Match penalty 1 leads automatically to suspension till the end of the respective match, match penalty 2 to suspension in the following match and match penalty 3 leads to the player’s suspension till the end of the tournament. Pre-game warm up on the floorball ground will be available only for 5 minutes before the match start. Other warming up activities will have to take place next to the ground or outside the hall. Only licenced referees by Czech Floorball will be nominated for this tournament. Other specific regulations vary depending on the categories:

B18, B16 and B14 – field size 40 metres x 20 metres (at least 36 metres x 18 metres), playing time 2 x 15 minutes (the playing time will not be measured effectively except for the last three minutes of the eliminating matches), the break will be 2 minutes long.

B12 and B10 – field size 34 metres x 16 metres (at least 32 metres x 15 metres), playing time 2 x 10 minutes (the playing time will not be measured effectively except for the last three minutes of the eliminating matches), the break will be 2 minutes long. The two-minute penalty is reduced to 1 minute and the five-minute penalty is reduced to 3 minutes. For category B12, the goal from the upper pole is reduced by 15 centimetres and for B10 by 30 centimetres using an approved floorball goal reduction system.

A draw in the eliminating matches is followed by:

1/ a series of 3 penalty shots

2/ Penalty “sudden death”

 

SYSTEM

According to the number of registered teams. The prerequisite is that 16 teams will be registered in each category. They will be divided into four groups of 4 and the Round Robin Series system will be applied. All team advance to the play-off. The opponents are assigned based on the following key (A1-B4, A2-B3, A3-B2, A4-B1, C1-D4, C2-D3, C3-D2, C4-D1). The bronze medal game is played before the final match or at the same time as the final match but in another sports hall. Other placement matches are not played. Each team will play a minimum of 4 games and a maximum of 7 games. Teams dropped out in the first round of the play-off may also agree to play a friendly match with the organizing service and referees at predetermined times and at predetermined sports halls.

 

AWARDS

The results will be announced after the tournaments ends at the venue. The first three teams in each category will be awarded with a diploma, cup and medals (max. 18 per team). TEMPISH (the main partner of the tournament) will also award the best teams and players with vouchers for goods worth 40 000 CZK according to the following key: 

1st place B18                              10 000 CZK

1st place B12                                 5 000 CZK

1st place B10                                 5 000 CZK

The best player                                 500 CZK

The best goalie                                  500 CZK

 

DRESSING ROOMS

Since the number of registered teams is large, the dressing rooms will only be used as walk-throughs in all sport venues. After changing before the match, please, take all the teams belongings and bags with you. After the match you may receive a different dressing room.

 

INSURANCE

Participants takes part in the tournament on their own risk. The organizer is not responsible for any injury, illness or loss of personal belongings during the tournament.

 

PROTESTS

A potential protest must be delivered to the tournament director or to the hall supervisor in a written form 15 minutes after the match at the latest, including the protest fee of 1000 CZK. In case of refusing the protest, the fee is not refunded. The verdict is final.

 

ACCOMMODATION

It is possible to provide hotel-type accommodation (a sleeping bag and sleeping pad are not necessary).  Accommodation will be provided in the city centre at the student dormitory of the Palacký University in Olomouc in double or triple rooms with shared facilities. Price for one person is 280 CZK per night. Depending on your interest, accommodation is available from Friday (check in from 4 pm) or Saturday (check in during the day) until Sunday (check out by 10 am). The payment of accommodation is made in cash at the dormitory on the day of arrival. Due to the limited capacity, please, report the number of participants in the online registration form as soon as possible! Accommodation must be booked no later than July 31, 2020. After this date, we are no longer able to provide accommodation. When processing requests for accommodation we will follow the order of received orders.

 

DIET

Refreshments at the tournament are provided in buffet form at each sports hall. For teams accommodated at the dormitory of Palacký University in Olomouc or other interested individuals, there is also the possibility of providing breakfast and dinner during the tournament. The half board starts with a Friday dinner and ends with a Sunday breakfast. The price for a complete diet during the extended weekend is 420 CZK per person in the B18, B16 or B14 category and 370 CZK in the B12 or B10 category. In addition to this, only selected breakfasts and dinners can be booked for the entire team. Payment is made in cash at the dormitory on the day of arrival. Detailed information about prices and menu is published on the official website of the tournament. Please, report the number of participants in the online registration form as soon as possible! Board must be booked no later than July 31, 2020. After this date, we are no longer able to provide board.

FURTHER INFORMATION

The organizer keeps the right to change the published propositions. In this case, all team leaders affected by the changes will be notified immediately. In his/her own interest, the team leader is obliged to fill the functional contact information of the responsible person in the registration form.
